Event highlight: It was an honour to be invited as a keynote speaker on innopreneurship at Tsinghua University, alongside Professor Chen Jin (Professor of Innovation at Tsinghua University) and fellow experts at the roundtable. The event was broadcast live online and hosted onsite, drawing a large and enthusiastic audience of innovators from within Tsinghua University as well as entrepreneurs from the broader community in Beijing.

I was honoured to conduct a session on integrated governance at Sampoerna University, applying an accelerated action learning approach. The energy, curiosity, and commitment demonstrated by the participants made the session highly engaging and impactful, reinforcing the value of integrating governance with action-oriented learning.

Our guest, Prof Dr K C Chan,helped put this in perspective during his session at XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang).He introduced a clear way to think about how people grow inside organisations. Innovation begins with creating ideas, then integrating them with real constraints, implementing them with discipline and finally influencing others to move in the same direction. Each stage requires a different set of habits and forms of awareness. It is a practical map of how capability is actually built.

The book, Innopreneurship is the first its kind in Singapore which is co-authored by Prof KC Chan (Founder of WILL, WILLI) and Prof Chen Jin of Tsinghua University, one of Thinkers50 for 2021 and 2023. This book is endorsed by Prof Xu Qingrui of Zhejiang University, one of the most eminent professors in China for Innovation. Globally, till now only two books are written on Innopreneurship.

Prof Alex Siow, Prof Chen Jin, and Prof KC Chan and some of the contributors will be sharing the What-why-and how they achieve innopreneurship in their journey of achieving success, scale success, sustain success, and make a significant to society.
